Playoff Information

General Playoff Information

  • Divisions with five or six teams will play full-length semifinals one week followed by full-length finals the next week. Semifinals will include seeds 2 vs 3 and 1 vs 4. Winners will meet in the championship match. 
  • Divisions with four or seven teams will play one full-length championship match on the final week, with seeds 1 vs 2 competing. Seeds 3 vs 4 will meet in the third-place match.
  • Teams not competing in semifinals or finals will play consolation matches.

Match Procedures

  • home team (higher seed) kicks off first half
  • home team chooses side to defend
  • home team elects whether to change colors in the event of a conflict
  • if score is level after full time, there is a one-minute interval, teams do not change benches or ends
  • home team kicks off five-minute overtime
  • overtime is golden goal (first goal scored wins)
  • if no goal is scored, immediately to penalty kicks (best of five)
  • any players may shoot, though teams are leveled
  • if no team is ahead after five kicks per team, kicks continue one-for-one until a winner is determined

Awards

First and second place teams will receive trophies, and players on the top two teams will receive individual awards as well. One team per division will receive a Fair Play Award. Awards ceremonies will take place immediately following each division's championship match.
